“Bali Hai – may call you – any night, any day. In your heart you will it call you, Come away. Come away” – That lyric from the musical South Pacific puts me in a trance. I dream of lying in a hammock on a palm tree lined beach, looking out over a crystalline reef to a volcanic island in the distance, its peak draped in clouds.
